The right luggage can definitely enhance your trip.  Our advice is to buy quality luggage which is light and durable. Check out our recommended products here.  Also, see our Travel Packing List, and Travel Tips pages for more good travel information.   Airlines have hefty charges if your luggage exceeds their maximum weight allowance so also take a look at our very small, portable and light weight luggage scale.  We could also suggest reviewing our TSA lock select to secure your luggage when traveling.  When you use these locks, U.S. and U.K. airport security can open your luggage for inspection but the luggage remains locked to all others.  Note that this is not the case for all international travel destinations so be sure to check if going outside the U.S.  We take these locks along even on international travel, however, so that we can lock our suitcases when we leave our hotel room.  Better to be safe than sorry.
